Q. What is SSL?
A. The SSL certificate is used for secure communications on the Internet. With it you can transfer important data like credit card information from one computer to another securely. point2point provides two types of SSL certificates:
* Shared - a SSL certificate for you and the other people hosted on the same server
* Private - a SSL certificate issued exclusively for your website
Having a private SSL certificate you will avoid the annoying warning message that pops up whenever a visitor tries to access your website via a secure connection (httpS) that appears if using shared SSL. The private SSL is available as an extra feature to your hosting plan.
